Cigarette ash a burning issue

Despite smoking being banned in all public places, pubs, cinemas, offices, factories, public transport and sports stadiums from 1 July, Cedar House points out that England's 12 million smokers are not just going to give up.

The company's Tim Ewbank says: "The effective management of cigarette waste is becoming a burning issue for businesses of all types and size and the provision of ashtrays is the least that they can do to help combat the inevitable increase of smoking related litter outside their premises."

To provide a solution, Cedar House offers a range of specialist ashtrays and litterbins and combinations of both.

Made from heavy gauge, rustproof stainless steel with a hand polished mirror finish, the bins are stylish in design and sealed to eliminate the normal smells associated with smoke and stale cigarette ends.

All are easy to empty and strong enough to withstand both the ravages of the weather and what the company calls the stupidities of vandals.

The collection is said to be ideal for use outside offices, hotels, golf clubs, shopping malls, sports stadiums, pubs, bars and cafes, comes in a wide range of sizes and is available in either wall or free standing versions.
